Ted, Francisco, Geraldo (I think, spelling?). Four guys can pull weeds from 9 AM to Noon and clear all the paths!
To keep the noise down I just used a broom to sweep the patio.
After weeding, the garden and paths were looking beautiful.
With the weeds gone the flowers really stood out.
Someone planted tulips around the citrus tree.
There were a number of found flowers after weeding.
And one of the camellias had a last bloom!
Just a few minutes before the group in Woodhaven broke for lunch, the garden paths were all raked.
The tree that was bent horizontal to the ground is now starting to grow straight again.
The back corners of the garden were completely overgrown. It is amazing to see those paths weeded and raked.
In case you wondered why this flower is called bird of paradise, now you know!
The bridge is now open to traffic.
And the "found" flowers are waiting to be discovered.
New growth at tips of branches.
View from the back corner bench.
About five minutes after the final path cleaning, the picnic table was in use. Whew!
Just a shout out to whoever cleaned up the garage (it wasn't us). Looks great.
So, just how many weeds can four guys pull in three hours? This many!
Visit the garden after a service where you can meditate on questions like: why does the meditation garden have so much glitter in it? :)
